Parents and helpers are able to assist in classrooms in a voluntary capacity during the two hour Literacy & Maths block as part of our Classroom Helpers Program. The Program is aimed at developing partnerships between home and school to support and improve student learning. All participants complete a five hour training course and a “working with children check".
School Advisory Council
At St Patrick’s there is a School Advisory Board. It is made up of the Principal, Parish Priest, a staff representative and several parent representatives.
The School Advisory Council meets once a term and its main aim is to be an advisory body to the Principal. The School Advisory Council deals with many issues including forward planning, policy development and general school matters. The school board forms an important link between the parent body and the Principal.
The current members are:
Parish Priest: Fr Eric Bryant
Principal: Michelle Hogan
Teacher: Michelle Howard
